Handy in the pocket or keychain

I used the PD40R for a week before posting this review. The torch is light-weight and the holster makes it very easy to carry. The four modes are perfect for various uses in the field. Plus the SOS and flash modes are useful to send signals. Overall a high quality torch and recommended for outdoor use.

Good quality as expected. The magnetic clip works like a charm. To get the side light on is a bit fiddly but do-able.

I am well experienced with knives and have knives from civivi, schrade, Smith and Wesson and victorinox but this one is special. I wanted a chunky edc knife and this one is perfect as it is not impratically chunky.

On top of it the steel is 14c28n which i crazy good compared to 9cr18mov of civivi and 5cr15mov of the knife you get at Decathlon. I do not know how are we getting the steel for this price. The heat treatment look decent. Edge retention is crazy! However it is not as good as cpm35 or svn or nitorV steel.

However, due to having compound grinding, one might be careful while honing or grinding. The sharpening will require some experience.

In conclusion, its a great knife, the price is justified, its good looking and most importantly, it's available!
